-CLT on Wednesday -Tomorrow is twin day theme of the day. -Application for the Yearbook is due tomorrow -French speech is due Thursday morning _Gym is outside tomorrow. Science Fair is in the gym all day for grade 6. -Parent/Teacher interviews on Thursday. In the gym from 12:30 to 2:30 pm and 5:30 to 7:30 pm
-This week we are doing our French spelling in class only. Many students are out sick and we are getting ready to write our French speech all week. -Information regarding the French speech will be going home tomorrow. Have a great week everyone. English Spelling this week. Quiz is Friday

-Reading French at home this week -Students are reminded to exchange their French book for a new one. Reading at home. -Speeches are almost completed and will be presented this week. -We are almost done the Book in a Box project. Work is continuing in class. -French spelling this week (Sentences due Wednesday)
-Wednesday is early dismissal 1:05 pm CLT Afternoon -First copy of the English speech due Wednesday. -For Valentines day students can bring cards to exchange with the class or they can buy a candy for 25 cents to be given as a surprise from the Student Council. Students are reviewing their French spelling in class today. Only the 10 words. Dictée will be tomorrow.

We are decorating our boxes in class and at home. Students will sign up for a day that they choose to present in class. -Students are making good progress writing their speeches. They are working hard in class to finish their first copy. -Reading French at home this week
- Heritage Fair is Friday starting at 8:30 in the school Gymnasium -Student will practice their presentations during the week -Spelling quiz will be done Thursday and only the 10 words in French. r-English spelling this week. Spelling work due Wednesday.
_Read in French at home this week. New books are available for the students. -Early dismissal 1:05 pm on Wednesdays. CLT afternoon. -Friday afternoon our class is having a reading afternoon party.Students will continue to read their English book for their project. They can bring a blanket and/or pillow if they wish. - Class speech. Students have to find a topic for Wednesday as they will be writing a speech for our class. Information was given today. -Heritage Fair projects are due next Monday January 27th. We will be presenting in the gymnasium on January 31st. - There is an online Math program called Khan Academy. This site is available for free and has many good resources for math at various levels. You need one of those web browsers to get in the program. Firefox,Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Students have access to many math videos as well. -I will be inquiring about getting our students a library card (LCLC)soon if the do not have one. -French spelling this week. Quiz on Friday
-Heritage Fair projects are due in class January 27 (Monday) and your child is absent on January 31st we will have a few judges coming to our school on that day to hear those presentations. -A new English project was assigned, and your child will need a box to put items in it for their project. A shoe box is great but any other medium size box is good too. The due date will be determine later. |
